The Acne Clearing Facial is a specialized skincare treatment designed specifically to address acne-related concerns and promote clearer, healthier skin. 

Cleansing: The facial begins with a thorough cleansing of the skin to remove surface impurities, makeup, and excess oil. This step helps to prepare the skin for subsequent treatments.

Exfoliation: A gentle exfoliation process using an enzyme under steam is included to remove dead skin cells and unclog pores while prepping the skin for extractions.

Extraction: Manual extraction is a key component of an acne facial. Blackheads, whiteheads, and other pore blockages will be removed. This helps prevent the formation of new acne lesions as well as clearing existing ones.

High-Frequency Treatment: The high-frequency device is a tool that emits a mild electrical current to help kill acne-causing bacteria, reduce inflammation, and promote faster healing.

Mask Therapy: Depending on the specific needs of the skin, a mask tailored to address acne concerns will be applied to the skin.

Hydration: Even acne-prone skin requires hydration. Serums and moisturizers will be used to promote faster healing and to keep the skin healthy.

Sun Protection: Applying a broad-spectrum sunscreen at the end of the facial is crucial to protect the skin from harmful UV rays. If the sun is out, SPF will be applied.

How to Book

We use the dermanirvanaspa.com website as the premier hub for all information about DermaNirvana and Services. We use Vagaro as our booking platform for Services as it is best in class for managing spa bookings.

Once you click the "Book Now" link you will be redirected to Vagaro to book this service. If you wish to add on an additional service, simply select the green button that says "+ Add Service", allowing you to add multiple services to one booking date and time.

Cancellation Policy
We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee of 50% the price of your scheduled appointment. Please give a 24 hour notice for any schedule changes or cancellations. Any cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of the appointment time will be subject to 50% of the service charge. No shows will be 100% of the service charge. If no contact is made in the first 15 minutes of the appointment it will be an automatic no show and be subject to a fee of 100% of the service charge. Tardiness over 15 minutes will be an automatic cancellation and will be subject to a fee of 50% of the service charge. If a service is canceled upon arrival it will be treated as a same day cancellation and be charged 50% of the cost.

    This acne-fighting facial is a targeted treatment specifically designed to address and alleviate acne-prone skin. This specialized facial begins with a thorough cleansing to remove excess oil, debris, and bacteria from the skin's surface. An enzyme peel will be applied under steam to soften the skin and remove any dead skin cells from the surface. This step also helps prepare the skin for extractions to follow. Then, extractions will be performed to clear out clogged pores and minimize the presence of blackheads and whiteheads. An antibacterial cleanser will be used to soothe existing blemishes and kill any bacteria left on the surface of the skin. There is an option for a glycolic/salicylic peel that will promote quick cell turnover to allow new skin cells to reach the surface, also further absorbing and remaining oil or debris that may still be in the pores. Additionally, a calming mask will be included to further diminish inflammation and promote healing. Acne-fighting serums and moisturizers will be applied followed by SPF.
